Natural hand picked slate walling stone is perfect to create a dry stone or mortared wall. Flatish pieces of varying sizes are packed in crates and can be split to easily create thinner walling if required. Makes a nice retaining wall between levels and is easier to work with than normal dry stone walling.

The colour is blue with slight plum and grey tones. Quite a nice natural finish and better than any conrete blocks or walling. Each crate contains approximately 1 ton of slate walling. A basket will produce approximately 2.25 square metres of single faced walling when laid dry and 2.50 square metres when cemented. The face of the walling is cut and smooth for a smart clean finish but if you require a more natural rougher appearance then we have natural riven finish slate walling.
