Natural hand picked slate walling stone is perfect to create a dry stone or mortared wall. Flatish pieces of varying sizes are packed in crates and can be split to easily create thinner walling if required. Makes a nice retaining wall between levels and is easier to work with than normal dry stone walling.
The colour is blue with slight plum and grey tones. Quite a nice natural finish and better than any conrete blocks or walling. Each crate contains approximately 1 ton of slate walling. It is difficult to give an exact figure for the area that can be covered by 1 crate of the slate walling. This is due to the varying size and thickness of each piece. |
