Pieces of larger blue slate, tumbled to produce flat rounded slate paddlestones as a large ground cover product. Used for a scree like effect or to stand out more than normal chippings between rockeries and planting areas. Sizes are from 2” to hand sized pieces. Can be walked on as they settle but not for paths or drives. Best in and around water and is unusual compared to normal finishes. Best layed 6cm deep. Does settle down quite well despite the large size. The actual size ranges between 50-150mm.
